Reading makes a full man, meditation a profound man, discourse a clear man.
(Benjamin Franklin)

Do you practice mindfulness? Do you meditate daily? These concepts have been around for thousands of years, and they are still extremely helpful in everyday life. Mindfulness can be defined as simply drawing your attention to the present moment. Meditation is quieting the mind – often by focusing on a mantra, guided visualization, or simply on your breath.

Mindfulness and meditation are benefical to our minds, bodies, and spirits. They can change our perspective, open our awareness, and help us to create significant change in our lives. While there are endless resources availabile, getting started with either can be intimidating.
