Today’s featured voice is from, Tim Ebl. Tim writes about how Love Letters from the Grave is a “nice counterpoint to the current dystopian views of society.”
When starting into this story, you have no idea what a ride you’re in for. Right out of the gate you will be drawn into the plight of young Charlie as he makes a tragic mistake that seems to limit his future to despair and loneliness. All is not as it seems, and the strength of his character carries him on into what unfolds into quite the journey.
I enjoyed every moment of this story, and I find it a little different than most books I’ve read. Optimistic, maybe. It’s a nice counterpoint to the current dystopian views of society. It gives us a chance to see that good can triumph, that partners can go their ways amicably, that the good guy can win. Do yourself a favour and pick this book up, and hopefully you will find it as satisfying as I did. – Tim Ebl
