“Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.”
Our goal here at Happy Living is to raise $6,000 for Make-A-Wish this year. That’s just enough to grant the wish of one child with life-threatening medical conditions, and we need your help. So each month during 2017, we will be presenting to you an inspiring video sharing the story of a ‘Wish Kid’.
Today’s video features Alexis, a 6-year-old girl with Leukemia. Her wish was to create a cartoon about her life with cancer, so she can help raise awareness of pediatric cancer and make a difference. In a beautifully crafted, animated short film, Alexis shows how scary Leukemia feels for a child. She also teaches us how being surrounded by love gave her the power to be brave, the courage to face her fears, and the hope to fight the disease.
You can help Alexis spread the love by supporting and helping wishes to come true for other Wish Kids.
It’s my wish that you’ll…WATCH – SHARE – DONATE… THANK YOU!
- Watch Alexis’ video
- Share this post throughout your social networks
- Donate to our fundraiser.
Please give what you can, when you can. As you know, every little bit helps give Wish Kids like Alexis the courage to fight.
With love and gratitude,
Take a look behind the scenes at how Alexis’ big wish came true!
