Bits of Inspiration – Welcoming 2015 | happyliving.com - image via Unsplash

Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance towards the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point.

Happy 2015, friends! I hope you had a safe and wonderful New Year’s celebration. I know the year has already begun, but I am still thinking about what it means to transition from one year to another. It is a very tangible passage of time. Good, bad, or indifferent, whatever happened last year is truly in the past. And 2016 is twelve months away.

The quote above is a perfect representation of how I feel at the beginning of a new year. I imagine that climbing a mountain would be thrilling and scary, challenging and beautiful. Just like life. Now that I’ve summited 2014, it is time to start the journey of 2015.

Did you make any resolutions? This past week I set my personal goals and today, the Happy Living team is meeting to review the past year and set our goals for 2015. In the spirit of New Years, here are bits of inspiration for welcoming 2015:

Balance out your resolutions with a stop-doing list

Get a new calendar for your office or desk – a longtime favorite and one that’s free

Start your year with an act of unexpected kindness

Name one little word for 2015

Organize your schedule with a fresh planner – I am loving my liveWell flex

And if you haven’t reflected on 2014, think through these seven questions
