This quote captures the essence of travel perfectly. Traveling is an inconvenience, a departure from the norm. There’s scheduling, planning, and packing involved. Along the way, there are travel mishaps like traffic, delayed flights, and lost baggage. There are also many delightful things – adventure, new experiences, and fresh perspectives.
In a few days, my fiancé and I are leaving for Europe. The trip will take us to five cities and we will be gone for a total of three weeks. Extended trips like this take extra preparation. Right now, we are running through our check-lists and packing light so we can breeze through our destinations. What do you do in the final days leading up to a long trip?
